Invisibility was a student exhibition of interdisciplinary projects produced by the 12th grade class of High Tech High Media Arts in the fall of 2007. Students created multimedia projects driven by research to “take things invisible and make them visible.” A diverse array of conceptual frameworks drove the student works into a final culmination of video art, film and sound installation projects. These final products were showcased at the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego.
The following video includes exhibition footage as well as interviews with the students and teachers about the process of developing the curriculum and projects.
Invisibility was featured in Thinking Through Project-Based Learning Guiding Deeper Inquiry by Jane Krauss and Suzie Boss.
